When Parrot first unveiled the Jumping Sumo at CES back in January, it used a small toy basketball net to illustrate the fun you could have in making this roving drone jump. Rolling around on two wide wheels, while controlled via the free FreeFlight 3 app on iOS and Android, the Jumping Sumo is a remote-controlled gizmo that is sometimes hard to define, yet easy to enjoy because of what it does. After spending time with it myself, I got a better sense of the pros and cons of such a unique toy.
